Following an appointment as General Manager of Planning and Administration Dept for Cosmo Energy Exploration & Production in 2015, he served as Director, General Manager of Planning and Administration Dept in 2018, Executive Officer in 2019, and Director, Senior Executive Officer in 2020, and President, CEO for Cosmo Energy Exploration & Production in 2021, and President, CEO for Cosmo Oil since April 2025. Mr. TANAKA Nobuo is Chairman of the steering committee of the Innovation for Cool Earth Forum (ICEF), which was established by former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in 2014. He was Chairman and President of the Sasakawa Peace Foundation for 2015-2020. As Executive Director of the International Energy Agency (IEA) from 2007 to 2011, he initiated a collective release of oil stocks in June 2011. He also played a crucial and personal role in the strengthening of ties with major non-Member energy players, including China and India.
He began his career in 1973 in the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), and has served in a number of high-ranking positions, including Director-General of the Multilateral Trade System Department. He was deeply engaged in bilateral trade issues with the US as Minister for Industry, Trade and Energy at the Embassy of Japan, Washington DC. He has also served twice as Director for Science, Technology and Industry (DSTI) of the Paris-based international organization, OECD (1989-95, 2004-07). As CEO of Tanaka Global Inc, he advises several Japanese and International companies. He is a member of International Advisory Committee of TotalEnergies since 2013. He is currently Senior Executive Advisor, Air Liquide Japan. He is a member of Stakeholders Panel of Orano.
He graduated from the University of Tokyo and have MBA from Case Western Reserve University. He is Distinguished Fellow of Center on Global Energy Policy of Columbia University and Institue of Energy Economics, Japan (IEEJ).

In her current role, Ms. Mariam Salem Al Suwaidi oversees strategic and operational functions related to human capital, digital transformation, procurement, and business support at ADNOC Drilling. With over 21 years of experience, she has held various senior roles across sectors including oil & gas, tourism & culture, and healthcare. In addition to her role at ADNOC Drilling, she serves as Deputy Chairperson of the ADNOC Group Gender Balance Committee, overseeing group-wide efforts to advance inclusivity, diversity, and gender balance across all ADNOC companies. She began her career in human resources, developing expertise in talent management, performance management, and succession planning. She has led numerous initiatives that have had a lasting impact on talent development across the ADNOC Group, fostering innovation and excellence. She holds a Master's degree in Human Resource Management from Abu Dhabi University and a Bachelor's degree in Education from UAE University. She is a certified member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and actively contributes to several advisory boards and committees.

Chairman Emeritus of FGE NexantECA Dr. Fesharaki received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Surrey in England and then completed a Visiting Fellowship at Harvard University’s Center for Middle Eastern Studies. Dr. Fesharaki founded FGE in 1984 and celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2024. He is the recipient of the 2016 Adelman-Frankel Award from the US Association for Energy Economics (USAEE) for his unique and innovative contributions to the field of energy economics. In March 2017, Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) appointed him as a Director of the Gulf Mercantile Exchange Limited (GME). Since 2009, he has been a member of the GME Board of Directors. Dr. Fesharaki has been appointed to the National Petroleum Council beginning in 2008 and was most recently re-appointed by the US Secretary of Energy, Chris Wright in January 2026.

He completed Master of Mechanical Engineering in Osaka University and joined Tonen Corporation in April 1989. After serving several significant positions in refineries, he was appointed as General Manager, Safety, Health & Environment Dept. in April 2017; Executive Officer, General Manager, Marifu Refinery in April 2021; Executive Officer, General Manager, Kashima Refinery in April 2023; and current position effective in April 2024.

Prof. OKADA Hideichi is an Advisor at Japan Economic Foundation, where he promotes international cooperation on trade and economy with Asian and European countries and the U.S.
From 2016 to 2024, he worked for Japan Petroleum Exploration Company or JAPEX as President and CEO and later as Special Advisor, where he was responsible for its oil and gas E&P business in Japan, Middle East, North Sea, Southeast Asia, the U.S. and Canada.
He also served as Senior Executive Vice President at NEC to promote its Cyber Security Business.
He was Vice Minister for International Affairs at METI and had various experience in Trade policies and IT policies.

Mr. Ruslan Halim Islahudin is a member of the PETRONAS Executive Leadership Team, leading Group Human Resource Management. He has held key leadership roles including Head of Risk Management at PETCO, General Manager in the Downstream Corporate Office, Executive Assistant to the President and Group CEO, General Manager of Strategy and Communications at ENGEN in South Africa, and Asia Pacific Regional Business Head at PETRONAS Lubricants International. Ruslan holds degrees from Imperial College London, Universiti Malaya and ESCP Business School, and completed Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program in 2023.

Mr. TERASHIMA Fumitaka is the General Manager of the Engineering & Capital Planning Department of ENEOS Corporation. He completed his graduate studies at the Graduate School of Engineering, Hokkaido University, in 1999 and joined Nippon Mitsubishi Oil Corporation (now ENEOS) the same year. After holding several key positions in refinery operations and planning divisions, he assumed his current role. He oversees the overall technical management of all ENEOS refineries and plants, including facility strategy, budgeting, process-related matters, digital transformation initiatives, technical support for global projects, and technical cooperation and training programs for oil-producing countries.

Dr. Faisal Al-Otaibi is currently the Director of the Research & Development Center of Saudi Aramco in Dhahran. He has been with Saudi Aramco for more than 30 yrs. Faisal has a BSc Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tulsa, a Masters and PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calgary. He has combined industrial and research experience in the areas of: gas hydrates, gas separations, oil treatment, oil refining, and water treatment. He started his career with Aramco as a stimulation engineer, then an operations engineer at Jeddah Refinery, and worked at UOP-Honeywell as a visiting research scholar in the area of gas separation technologies. Faisal has many journal publications and patents in his area of expertise.

Dr. Oki Muraza is a Deputy President Director in PT Pertamina (Persero). He was the Senior Vice President Technology Innovation in Pertamina Persero (Holding). He was the Deputy Co-Chair in B20 India 2023 for Taskforce of Energy, Climate Change & Resource Efficiency. Previously, He was the Policy Manager in B20 Indonesia 2022 in Taskforce of Energy, Sustainability & Climate. He was co-led in the Net Zero Strategy Taskforce and Chemical Business Taskforce within Pertamina. Oki was one of the World’s top 2% influential Energy scientists worldwide by Stanford University in 2020. He has more than 20 years in the energy industry. He received his PhD from TU Eindhoven, MSc from TU Delft and BSc in Chemical Engineering from the Institute of Technology Bandung (ITB).

Mr. MATSUMOTO Atsushi is leading CO₂ Management team in JGC Holdings Corporation, who is engaged in the strategy development as well as creation of CO₂ management business for JGC group. Such experience includes the commercialization of JGC’s own CO₂ capture technology as well as leading strategic partnership with technology providers.
He has a strong background of chemical engineering and his career as a process engineer includes EPC projects, basic design, conceptual design, and feasibility studies of LNG plants, gas processing plants and refineries for oil and gas field development in Southeast Asia, Australia, Africa and other regions.
